Sneak Peek at Halloween

Millie got all dressed up in her cowgirl outfit yesterday. They had a Harvest Carnival at Mt Si in North Bend and we headed over there to play some games and visit the spooky Haunted House!

It was our last "beautiful" day of weather. And of course, we love the way Mt. Si looks on a good day of weather. We are in for a long week of constant rain! Yuck. But hopefully it will dry out for Halloween trick or treating.

Fall Colors

We have been having such a beautiful, mild start to Autumn. Sunny skies and beautiful scenery all make it seem so cheerful around here again.

We made a quick stop before ballet to take some photos of our favorite fall colors in town, just down the road from our house at Centennial Fields.

Wilkommen Oma, Opa and Daisy!

We have been having so much fun these past 15 days with Oma and Opa (and Daisy dog). They flew over from Germany and Millie and I loved showing them around Snoqualmie and Seattle. The very first day we took them for a walk to Snoqualmie Falls.

We had almost near perfect weather the entire time they have been here (only 2 days of rain). The rest of the time was warm, sunny days. We went to Alki beach one morning and searched for all sorts of treasures washed up on the beach. We found seaglass, lots of seaweed and even a starfish.

It was so sunny, we decided to take a ride on the water taxi over to downtown Seattle. We even got to see a whole bunch of sea lions sunning themselves..(More photos on them shortly. Detlef took a great picture with his camera...)
